Minority report refer to some opinion that against most of the general public perception or opinion. It is contrary to most of people believe or act. However, you have to filter again whether it is making sense or purely rubbish.
Example, the current BDI index for bulk carrier like Maybulk, is having a difficult time due to over supply of vessel and low charter rate. If you noticed that someone is coming out with a opinion that indicating a reversal of current situation. After study and search for more information, you agree with that opinion. Then you act againt the general public, eventually the situation getting clearer and awared by most public; you will benefit or gain from first mover advantage at lower price vested.
